Investment-Based Crowdfunding, one of our core offerings, will become a $1B business by 2013. With the right team, we have an opportunity to become one of the premier platforms in this space, and in the process will help thousands of business owners create jobs and fulfill their dreams.

Seeking: Back-end Web Developer – Ruby on Rails

We are currently looking for a full-time Rails genius to take the lead on back-end development. We are close to having a functional MVP, but there is still a ton of opportunity to help drive the product forward as we iterate things with live customers.

Our platform is built on a fairly standard Ruby on Rails stack. As we scale we’re open to looking at whatever technologies get the job done. Longer term there will definitely be a mobile component to what we’re doing.

We operate in an agile, collaborative, and customer-facing manner. We’re not a 90-hour-a-week shop; but we do expect a lot from each other in terms of actual results.

The ideal person for this role would also help out with deployment to production (currently on Heroku and Amazon S3; may want to go over completely to Amazon)
